Q. What are the ages?
Ans. Eastern Mountains Young Marines takes ages 8 through 20.  
Q. Where and when do you meet?
Ans. We drill at the Show Low National Guard on Friday nights at 6pm till 8:30pm. .
Q. What is the cost?
Ans. $75.00
Q. What parts of the uniform are supplied by the unit?
Ans. Eastern Mountains Young Marines will outfit young marines with dog tags and patches, a cover (hat), belt, red Young Marines t-shirt; canteen and service belt .We will also provide the Young Marine Basic Guide Book to become a Young Marine.

Q. What do the parents provide?
Ans. We ask the parents to provide boots. We recommend full leather or jungle style black boots.
Q. How long is Recruit Training Camp?
Ans. Recruit training is 13weeks or 27 hours and it’s up to the recruits’ willingness to succeed, some take longer or need more hours to grasp the training material.
Q. Are all the staff Marines?
Ans. Not all instructors are Marines or former Marines. We also have instructors that are affiliated with the Army and Navy, as well as parents that have not served in the military.
